Welcome to The Curiosity Club!

A hands-on learning studio for curious thinkers in the Madison & Waunakee area.

The Curiosity Club is a small, in-person learning studio for upper elementary and middle school students who thrive on thinking, building, discussing, and discovering together.

Led by an award-winning veteran educator with nearly four decades of experience, Curiosity Club is intentionally human-scale. No personal devices. No passive learning. No one-size-fits-all instruction.

Instead, students work with real materials, explore rich literature, wrestle with big ideas, and grow within trusted cohorts where every voice is known.

We meet twice each week in Madison, Wisconsin. This is learning as an experience, not a worksheet, not a screen, and not something easily replicated at home.

What Is The Curiosity Club?

A premium, small-group studio built around:

  • Hands-on science investigations using real materials

  • Deep reading, thoughtful discussion, and purposeful writing

  • Story-driven, expedition-style learning

  • Calm, supportive cohorts that build confidence and real academic skill

In a world of increasing digital instruction, Curiosity Club protects the deeply human parts of learning: collaboration, experimentation, discussion, and intellectual risk-taking.

Who Is This For?

The Curiosity Club is ideal for learners who:

  • Are homeschooled or in flexible/hybrid settings

  • Enjoy thinking deeply and asking questions

  • Prefer small, discussion-rich environments

  • Love stories, experiments, creativity, and big ideas

  • Need meaningful challenge tailored to their specific needs

Cohorts are intentionally small so relationships matter, conversations have depth, and each student is truly known.
